BUTTER MARKET. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cable from their head office, London:—Butter market looks as if touched bottom, but at present practically no demand. Cheese market still declining; New Zealand white, 106 s per cwt; New Zealand color, 108 s per cwt. WOOL SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has received the following telegram from their London house, under date 18th instant London Wool Sales.—The following dates have been fixed for London sales : June 26, September 11, October 25, December 4. Mr Hugh Mitchell, secretary for the Dunedin and Suburban Mutual Money Club, Ltd., advises that loans to the amount of £520 were applied for at last week's meeting of trustees.
