SALE OF CLYDESDALES. A successful sale of Messrs Thomson and Co.’s Wairongoa Clydesdales was held by Messrs Wright, Stephenson,_ and Co. this morning. There was a fair attendance, including some North Island buyers, but most of the stud will remain in Otago, as the following record of the sale shows : Mare, four years, by Bonny Breastknot, £SO, to ‘Mr J. D. M'Curdie (St. Hilda). Gelding, five years, by Scotland’s Viceroy, £4B, lo 11. C. Campbell, Ltd. Gelding, two years, by Newton Chief, £sl, to Mr P. Davidson (Washdyke). Colt, three years, by Springfield Stamp, £4O, to Mr John Reid (Alma). Colt, three years, same, £4B, to Mr P. Davidson. Filly. Bold Princess (Baron Bold—Prmccss), 70 guineas, to Mitchell and O'Brien (Oamaru). Mare, Miss Moirecn (Newton Chief— Moireen), 65gns, to Mitchell and O’Brien, repurchased by Mr Thomson at 85gns. Mare, Lady Sheridan (Newton Chief— Kate), 55gns, to Mr Gregor M‘Gregor (Waitotara). . Killy. Lady Fabric (Dunure fabric— Pride of Trowan), 80gns, to Mitchell and O’Brien. Killy, Silver Bangle (Dunure fabric— Lady‘Silver), 135gns, to Bushey Park ' S (Jolt, Fabricana (Dunure Fabric—Brilliant HI.), 520gns, to Mitchell and O’Brien. „ , .
