‘AUSSIE’
PERMANENTLY ENLARGED WITH N.Z. SUPPLEMENT. The April number of ‘Aussie,’ just lo hand, is the first of the permanently enlarged issue of the magazine. The new feature, which is devoted entirely to humorous art and literature in this country, is an entertaining section in itself. The black-and-white work depicting Maori types in humorous vein is particularly good, and the stories and verse are all racy and clever; Tho Australian section, which runs to fifty pages, is, as usual, bright and entertaining. In the New Zealand supplement the proprietors of the paper are out to encourage art and literature in this country. Mr Pat Lawlor, of Wellington, is the New Zealand editor.
