There would seem to bo plenty of work offering for carpenters at present. The architect to the Education Board stated this morning Unit the board had engaged all the good tradesmen that wore available. The Otago Education Board is circularising school committees drawing attention to the fact that 160 schools exceeded the statutory holidays last year, and expressing the hope that there will bo a more rigid adherence to the regulations.
