QUESTION OF A LABOR CANDIDATE RESTS WITH OAMARE ALONE. [Per United Press Association.'] CHRISTCHURCH, April 2. Mr Holland. M.P., who is in Christ- 1 rhurrli aflending the Labor Conference, was asked io-day if it was intended to run a Labor candidate for Oamaru. Mr Holland replied that the decision rested with the Oamaru branch of the parly. Beyond that ho could say nothing.
