The improved condition of tho Lako Taupo trout was well exemplified by a fine rainbow caught in Acacia Bay on Tuesday {records the Auckland ‘Herald’). The fish weighed 1941 b, and was caught by Mr R. Bailey. It is the largest rainbow caught for many years, being only 31b under tho weight of the largest ever caught at Taupo.
