PROPERTY’ SALES. Messrs Park, Reynolds, Ltd., sold by auction, yesterday several sections in the township of Soatoun, Portobello, on bohalf of Air F. Gorman. The sale resulted as follows Lots 1,4, and 6, to Mr A. Hoar at £2O, £25, and £25 respectively; and Lots 2 and 3 to Air A. Dick at £l7 each. There was a large attendance of buyers, John Reid and Sons, Ltd., submitted to auction several Roslyn and one city property. The first place submitted was a freehold and residence situated in Belgrave crescent, bidding rising to £1,375, at which figure it was passed in, but has since been sold by private treaty. The Highgato properties failed to find purchasers; but part section 51, block 03, corner of Howe and Castle streets, Dunedin, with shop and dwelling, was sold to a purchaser at £350.

Loans to the amount of £BSO and twenty-one shares were applied for at this week's meeting of the trustees of the Dunedin and Suburban Alutunl Money Club. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has received tho following cablegram from its London house under dale the 14th inst. : Tallow: Mo quote present spot values for tho following descriptions: —Fine mutton, 44s 9d per cwt; good beet, 42s 9d per cwt; mixed, 59s per cwt.
