LONDON January 12 (received to-day, at 2.5 p.m.).—The Glasgow police arrested twenty-seven persons (including one woman) found in possession of a quantity of ammunition and icvohers One man was also charged with stealing 2,000 detonator* and .several electric batteries. All the abused replied; Ambassador has lodged with Mussolini a protest against the French invasion of liidu-. IJe Ambassador declared that Germany would fulfil her obligations as far as able.
