(Received December 23, at 8.30 a.m.) Lively scenes marked the sitting of the Minorities Commission. M. Venizelos bitterly protested against the eviction of the Greeks from Asia Minor. Signor Montagna (the chairman) unsuccessfully endeavored to appease his wrath. Rizanur Bey retorted that all the so-called emigration was the fault of the Greeks themselves, who during the \var had caused the population to clear out. M. \ enizelos was chiefly responsible as the instigator of the war. Tho chairman stopped the meeting, and tho delegates left tho hall—A. and N Z Gable. A CRY FROM CRETE. COMPLAINT AGAINST GREEKS. LAUSANNE, December 22. (Received Decern tor 23, at 9.10 a.m.) An Anatolian agency complains that tho Greeks confiscated all the farms belonging to Moslems in Crete, and that oyer twenty Moslems are massacred or die of famine daily. Tho Italian Consul in Crete is endeavoring to protect the Moslems.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
