SALES OF WORK
ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH. The annual sale of work of i.he All Saints' Guild was opened in the schoolroom this afternoon, and promises to be very successful. There are a largo number of stalls, and all of them are well stocked with goods of every description. The hall is prettily decorated, and altogether the sale should bo satisfactory in every way. This evening an entertaining sketch entitled 'Harmonious House Hunting' will be submitted by Miss 1-orna Smith and party. The safe will be continued to-morrow afternoon and evening. At might Miss Styles and party will bo the entertainers. ST. JOHN’S, ROSIA'N. The annual bazaar in connection with St. John’s Church, Ruslyn, was opened) this afternoon. The goods to bo disposed of include fancy work, childrens drosses, and other garments, Christmas gifts, produce, cakes, and sweets. The sale, will bo continued to-night, and also to-mor-row afternoon and evening. To-night a comedietta will bo presented by a. partyconsisting of Miss Bessie Thomson, Mrs A. 11. Gard’ncr, and Major F. Lampen : and to-morrow .evening Air and Mrs Gard’ner and Miss Thomson will appear in a dramatic sketch.
