AIR MASLIN AND HOSPITAL SEPARATION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I have delayed replying to Mr Miaslin’s letter until I obtained authentic information regarding his connection with tho hospital separation movement. I find that Air Maslin was a member of the South Otago Hospital Committee from its inception in June, 1918, until ho left the district, during the whole of wliioh time he took a very .active part in the movement, speaking strongly in its favor at a number of public meetings. Although he was not actually in the district when separation was carried, Air Maslin has always bebn a keen supporter of the scheme which has cost gud will cost Dunedin ratepayers so much. It is useless his endeavoring to hedge in tho matter; these are tho fact’s. —I am, etc., Taxed. December 4.
