AUCKLAND WOOL SALE. LATE RATES SUSTAINED. The combined offerings amounted to 11,516 bales, as compared with 8,749 bales at the opening sale of Oast season. TUo sale was ono of the most, satisfactory over held in Auckland, 99 per cent, of the Offering having been sold at auction. The prices realised demonstrated that growers who sell locally aro receiving more satisfactory returns than those who ship. Best thm-peiled winters realised 5 to 10 per cent, above September rates. Second winters and etoutpeltod and hatters’ pulling sorts generally were 10 per cent. down. Low grades and umpulled sorts advanced on an average, of 50 per cent. Tallow stocks, 3,778 casks; imports during November, 2,529 casks; deliveries, 4,400 casks. Hour Licht, of Magdeburg, estimates tho European beet sugar production for tho 1922-25 campaign at 4,775,500 tons. Tho first mouth’s production is 170,380 tons.
