OVERSEA MAILS
A largo quantity of oversea mail matter will reach Dunedin this week. The postal authorities adviso that eleven bags of United Kingdom mails ex tho steamer Kent, at Auckland, will come to hand to-morrow afternoon. The newspaper portion, consisting of 98 bags, should reach Dunedin on Saturday afternoon. The Tahiti, which is due at Wellington on Friday morning from San Francisco, is carrying ],006 bags of European and American mails for New Zealand. The local portion, consisting of 198 bags, is expected to come to hand on Saturday afternoon. _ One bag of letters from Sun Francisco, ex the steamer Waiotapu, at Auckland, is expected to reach Dunedin on Friday night. The Waiotapu also brought 142 parcel receptacles for Dunedin. These should come to hand on Saturday afternoon or Monday night. The next Australian mail to reach Now Zealand will he by the Ulimaroa, which is due at Wellington on December 6 from Sydney.
