Potatoes.—Owing to the arrival of new potatoes from Auckland, the demand for old potatoes has eased. Best Taieri tables are selling at £8 10s; others, £6 to £7. Chaff.—Tho market for prime chaff is firm at £4 10s per ton; good to best feed, £4 to £4 63; medium, light, and discolored, £2 to £3 10s. SALES ON ’CHANGE; THIS DAY. Wellington. Government Inscribed Stock (5J per cent.), £99 17s 6d. Auckland. —Sales reported: Bank of New South Wales, £36; South British, 365; Waihi, 53s Bd, 53s 9d.
