CONFERENCE AT PARIS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 9. (Received November 10, at 11.15 a.m.) Sir Thomas Robinson represented the British Government at the Refrigerated Food Conference at Paris, where exhaustive laboratory experiments were arranged, the cost of which were borne by the various Governments. The next conference wilt bo held at London in 1924, synchronising with the Empire Exhibition, thus giving the Continental delegates an opportunity of seeing something of the Empire’s food resources.
Sir Thomas Robinson conferred with the French Government authorities and others concerned in the import of meat during the war, and discussed the desirability of keeping alive tiro demand for frozen meat in France. Sir Thomas Robinson said that much was now going to Germany, and Great Britain would be glad to see Franco availing herself of it.— A. and N.Z. Cable
