LATEST FROM COLOMBO, Adrices from Colombo placed at cur dis. poeal show that; rates were dearer for all descriptions at last pale, with tbs exception of the finest; this grads was irregular, & with an easier tendency. Supplies continue email, quality is attractive, and there is a; strong demand. London buyers are still endeavoring to purchase estates' crops forward for the whole of 1925. Sellers indicate 1 rupee as the price tier will consider; but at present buyers aw inclined to think this figure is too high. All this |oes to show how strong the position is: and whilst it. is thought there may be an opportunity of purchasing below market value at on© or two sales this year, it is considered that such a decline will" be. .temporary, Ibe writ ers do not look for any fixed derided drop in prices before the end' of June.
