ORPHANS’ SHOW TO-NIGHT
It is prophesied that tho entertainment which'the Dunedin Orphans’ Club is putting on at the Bums Hall to-night will be one of the very best ever arranged by that popular institution. As usual tho efforts of tho members aro being put forward on behalf of a deserving cause, in this case the Children’s Rest Homo, Mornington which needs funds for tho extension of its work. Tho programme to bo submitted is of such a varied nature as to appeal to all tastes, from those who like a 1 Shakespearean recitation or a high-class soim to the seeker after amusement simply “ and who prefers tho comic song or humorous recitation. Then there is to bo an exhibition of sleight-of-hand, some excellent instrumental items, and selections by a quartet party. Tho club orchestra, which is at its best just now, will bo a special feature. The Orphans taking part areßros. H. P. Ferguson, S. G. Angell, \ Moore, T. Bachop, G. Mcarns, A. Voun-r, It. \V.
