They are mostly women and children, and they are without money,, food, shelter, _or clothing. The Government relief are doing their utmost to oopo witlh urgent necessities: but the organisation of relief on a marai vaster scale is essential, an order to avert a catastrophe. Dr Narisen appeals urgently for public funds.—Renter.
