FETAL CONCERTS. His Majesty's Theatre was packed on Saturday and evening, when the final demonstration concerts were given. Mr E. 0. Reynolds, who presided over the gathering at night, returned thanks on behalf of the Competitions Committee for the exceedingly good patronage extended to tho festival. Special prize of £8 8s to the highest aggregate marks in tenor, baritone, bass, vocal solo (operatic), and vocal solo (open to all)—W. Mitchell, 341 points. ■ Special prize of £8 8s to the highest aggregate marks in soprano, mezzosoprano, contralto, vocal solo (operatic), and vocal solo (open to all) —Mi's S. Foote, 566 points. Gold and silver-mounted oak tray (to be held for one year), valued ISgs, presented by the London Piano and Organ Company, for winner pianoforte solo, reading at sight—Miss Elva Baker. Bristol Piano Company’s Scholarship, for piano solo (16 and under 18), being one year’s tuition with an Otago teacher, open to competitors resident in Otago province —Miss Roma Baker. .Messrs C.
