DUNEDIN RACES, 12th and 14th OCTOBER HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS to Dunedin will be ISSUED from LYTTELTON, WAIMATE, BLUFF, KINGSTON, QUEENSTOWN, and Intermediate Stations, including Branches South of GLENAVY, on 11th and 13th OCTOBER; also from OMAKAU, INVERCARGILL, and Intermediate Stations, including LAWRENCE AND GATLINS BRANCHES, by Trains arriving Dunedin up to 1.13 p.m. on Igth and 14tb OCTOBER; ail available for return till 21st OCTOBER, 1922. On 12th OCTOBER the usual 11.40 a.m. Train for Ranfurly leaves Dunedin 1.20 p.m., and tho 6.25 a.m. Lawrenco-Miltou and 10.0 a.m. Milton-Lawrence Trains will run. On 12th audl 14th OCTOBER Special Race Trains leave Dunedin for Wingatui Racecourse at short intervals from a,bout iv.od a.m. till 11.45 a.m. Tho first Race Train stops at Kensington and Caversham to pick up passengers holding racecourse tickets. Other Race Trains will NOT stop at Intermediate Stations. Return Race Trains leave Wingatui for Dunedin from about 5.30 p.m. Tho°last Race Train from Wingatui stops where required to sot down, Other Race Trains from Wingatui will NOT stop. Ordinary Trains leave Dunedin for Wingatui at 9.5 a.m., 10.25, 11.15 a.m. (12.15 p.m. Saturday only), 1.15 p.m., and 2.15 p.m., and return leaving Wingatui at 4.54 p.m., 5.15, and 6.20 p.m. Tho Return Fares from Dunedin, Kensington, and Cavers'iam to Wingatui Racecourse platform, including admission to course,_ will be 4s, available for return on day of issue only. Single Fare from Racecourse to Dunedin, 2s. Only tickets at these fares will be available by Special Trains to and _ from Wingatui Racecourse platform; other tickets or passes uro NOT available by Special Trains. The usual 4.28 p.m. Dunedin-Palmerston Train leaves at 6.25 p.m., and the Afternoon Train for Outrarn leaves Mosgicl at 5.50 p.m. The 5.10 p.m. Express for Invercargill stops at Wingatui to pick up passengers for Stations South of Clinton at which Train is timed to stop. After 4.30 p.m., until race traffic has ceased, railway tickets at Wingatui will be obtainable only at the ticket box placed outside the barriers. Applications, to be made on p.s.c.
