The Coriima is due here on Thursday from Wellington to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The Katoa is due at Dunedin on Sunday next from Auckland via Wellington anil Bluff, and is listed to sail tho following day for east coast ports and Auckland.
The Union Company advises that the Whanganc is listed to leave Sydney on Wednesday with general cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff.
The Pnloona. which left Bluff on Saturday afternoon for Melbourne, will bo despatched from the Victorian port at tho end of this week for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. Tho Breazo is duo at Dunedin on Friday from Lyttelton, and is scheduled, to sail tho same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, ■Pinion, and Wanganui. The Cairn, from Lyttelton and Bluff, is due hero to-morrow, and will sail on Wednesday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington. and Wanganui. The Kamo is duo at Dunedin on Saturday from Westport, and is listed to sail on" Monday next for Westport and Greymonth via. Oamam and Timaru. The Holmdale has been fixed to load at Dunedin on Saturday next for Oamoru, Timnni, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. A cablegram from London states that the steamer Clan Maegil'ivray, bound from Australian ports to tho United Kingdom, and the lug St. Giles, en route from England to New Zealand, passed Gibraltar on September 7. Tho steamer Bonrara, bound from Australian ports to Liverpool and London, passed Pcrim on Sontoraber 7. The Federal Linn advises that the steamer Orari, which left Liverpool on July 16 and Panama, on August. 3 via, Auckland, is. to, leave Wellington to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff to complete discharge.. The liner Opavra. arrived at Melbourne on Tuesday last from Dunedin to complete dinoharge of her cargo from Montreal and New York. The vessel is to load in .Australia, for Ihe United Kingdom. Captain F. H. Edge lias taken command of the Corinna vice Captain A. H. Prosser, who has come, ashore for orders.
Drawing 29ffc of water, the Federal Steam Navigation Company's steamer Hororata arrived at Melbourne cm August 28 with general cargo from Liverpool.
The new steamer Baradino left London on August 24 on her voyage to Australia, via. South Africa..
Running under the auspices of the While ' Star Lino the Shaw, Saviil, and 1 Albion Lino steamer Ta.iroa will leave Liverpool on October 15 for Australian ports. The Melbourne. Steamship Company’s new steamer Ellaroo loft Karachi on August 25 for Melbourne direct, where she is due about September 23. Almost 104,000 tons of shipping 1 passed inwards through Port Phillip Heads on August 28. Of the total 29.957 tons were interstate vessels, and the remainder, 73,908 lons, were overseas steamers, including threo of 12,000 tons, one of 11,000 tong, and one of 14,000 tons. TO LOAD FOR -NEW YORK. Messrs H. L. Taploy and Co. advise that the Canadian Victor is duo at Dunedin about September 25 from Adelaide via Lyttelton to discharge part cargo and load for New York, Boston, and Montreal She will complete loading at- Bluff, Wellington, and Auckland. The Canadian, Explorer will he. the next steamer of the Canadian Government Line to load for New York. Boston, and Montreal. She is expected on the New’ Zealand coast about, the middle of October. ■She will bo followed by the Canadian C-cnqueror, which will load at dominion ports about the middle of November for the same ports. Chatham Islands.— Ccrinthic (South■ampton to Wellington). | PORT NAPIER FROM LONDON. Messrs J, W. Swift and Co. advise that (he Port Napier is to leave Wellington tomorrow night for Dunedin. She should arrive on Thursday morning, and after lire remainder of her London cargo has been ‘ discharged will dock at Port Chalmers for cleaning and painting.' - The vessel will afterwards load at Port Chalmers and at Blulf, Timaru, Wellington, Napier, and Auckland. She is to leave Auckland on October 10 for Loudon via .Montevideo.
TmiEEE FROM MONTREAL. The local agents for the A. and A. Line ad\ ise inat the Tremero, from Montreal and New York, will leave Wellington tomorrow for Lyttelton and Dunedin, where she. will discharge part cargo. The Tremoic will then proceed to Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. REPAIRING THE RONA. Repairs to the bow ot the steamer Rona, which was severely damaged through striking hint Rock on July 26, ore proceeding steadily in Calliope dock (Auckland). A now iron stem piece, which was ordered from Fort Chalmers, was landed at Auckland from the Katoa on Monday last.
