At Palmerston North on Saturday the four-ball match was won by tho professionals by 3 games to 2. Results (amateurs mentioned first): Sime and Morpeth lost to Clements and Moss, 1 up. Duncan and Lusk lost to Brooke and Ham, 4 up and 3 to play. Norton and BidweJl beat Shaw and Butters, 1 up. Wight and Bell lost to Blair and M'Cormick, 2 up and 1 to play.
