COMBINED SPORTS CLUB

THIRD EXHIBITION NIGHT. The Dunedin Combined Sports Club held its third exhibition of boxing and wrestling in the club rooms, Princes street, on Saturday evening, before a very largo attendance of members. There were present also the officials of the Otago Rugby Union and members of the Wellington representative football team. The club’s president (Dr A. S. Moody), who briefly addressed the gathering, extended a hearty' welcome to the visitors and friends. At the conclusion of the programme an adjournment was made to Kroon’s Hall, where a very pleasant hour was spent and various toasts were honored. Musical items were- supplied by Messrs Leech, Alearns, and company, which were greatly appreciated. The dub has decided to hold another evening on the night of September 16. The members of the Southland team will be entertained on that occasion.
