After many delays Sir Robert Horne (Chancellor of the Exchequer) informed Mr Havelock Wilson (secretary _of the Seamen’s Union) that the first instalment cf £IOO,OOO out of £5,000,000 which was earmarked from the Gorman reparations for the dependents of 17,000 British seamen who wevo killed ns the result of the submarine campaign against merchant ships, is now available for distribution.
