REMITS FOE DOMINION' EXECUTI VE. [Special to the ‘ Star.’] CHRISTCHURCH, August, 25. The Canterbury District Committee of the Returned Soldiers’ Association decided to forward the following remits to the next meeting of the Dominion Executive : That headquarters should bo recommended to press for the appointment of a war pensions appeal board, which should hear appeals against decisions of War Pensions Board, and also against the decision of medical headquarters regarding lha medical treatment of soldiers who break down as a result of war service. That the committee notes with satisfaction tho success which has attended the Otago District Committee’s action in respect to military defaulters taking part in amateur sports, and recommends tho Dominion Executive to take such steps as will make its application do-minion-wide.
