OTAGO HUNT EXECUTIVE. At a meeting of the Otago Hunt Executive held last evening, it was decided to hold a point-to-point steeplechase at Woodeaton on Saturday, September 9. ] Three races were set down : Light-weight Steeplechase. Heavy-weight Steeplechase, and a point-to-point for the junior members of the hunt. The appointment of the following officials for the hunt races set down for October 28 was confirmed: Handicapper for Hat and steeples, Mr J. E. Henrys ; trotting event, Air H. Brinkman ; starter, Mr A. D. M'lvor. MULEARY AND WHITAKER MATCHED. The Christchurch Sports Club has matched M'Clcary and Whitaker for a purse of £2OO, and the championship title.
