THE GOLDFIELDS TOUR. The Otago team, which left Dunedin yesterday morning, played its first game later in the dap at Ranfurly against Manioloto. Heavy rain ' fell throughout the afternoon. The game ended in a draw. In the first spell Naylor kicked _ a goal from a mark, and tries were obtained by Pringle and Clarke for Alaniototo, while for Otago tries were scored by Percy and Wise, the tally being 9-6 in favor of the country players. In the final half tries wore Thomas and Wise (Otago), and Naylor was successful with a penalty kick. The game thus ended:
