PROHIBITION AND EMPLOYMENT.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I see by to-night’s ‘ Star ’ that there is not ono man on tho Repatriation Department’s books in Oamaru, and also that there are thirty-five houses in course of erection there. And Oamaru has Prohibition. This does not seem to fit in with the opinion of a few of our friends who tell us that Prohibition moans unemuloymont.—l am, etc., ‘ - Insomnia. August 19.
