[Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 21. The conference of Choral Societies was held to-day, delegates from Auckland, Stratford, 'Palmerston North, Masterton, .Hastings, Wellington. Ohristclmrdh, and ■Dunedin attending. It was decided to form an associated choral societies of New Zealand. It was resolved to protest against amusement tax on societies, and to gend a deputation to the Prime Minister,
