REMARKABLE ACCIDENT
FALL FROM SCAFFOLDING ON TO TRAIN. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, BERLIN, August 16. (Received August 18, at 8.55 a.m.) Five persons were killed and six seriously injured through an extraordinary accident at Anhalter station. The scaffolding from which men were repairing a roof collapsed., and precipitated the workmen a hundred feet. Some fell on to platforms ; others struck a departing train, causing consternation among the passengers. —Reuter.
