CUSTOMS RETURNS, JUNE QUARTER According to a ‘Gazette’ return, tho Customs and Excise duties collected at tho chief ports during tho quarter ended Juno 50, were; Customs—Auckland £370,615, Wellington £349,299, Lyttelton £193,405, Dunedin £139,215. The total for tho dominion was £1,208,385, compared with £1,371,355 for tho corresponding quarter last year. Excise—Auckland £36,473, Wellington £20,272, Lyttelton £24,753, Dunedin £48,492. Tho total for tho dominion was £162,849, compared with £95,109 for the June quarter, 1921.—Wellington telegram. PROPERTY SALE. Messrs Park, Reynolds, Ltd., sold by auction yesterday, in the estate of the late Mrs K. Rossbntham, a property consisting of section 1, part 23, in tho Township of Woo'dhaugh, and subdivided into three allotments, which were disposed of as f0110w5;—25.89 10w5;—25.89 poles at tho corner of _ Malvern and Woodhaugh streets, with a double-story brick building, £700; 16.61 poles, with a three-roomed house, shop, and stable, £225 ; 19.39 poles, with a five-ro-omed cottage, £245. There waa good competition for all the lots submitted'. By the s.s. Arawa, which sailed) from Wellington on tho 9th inst., tho New Zealand and Australian Land Company shipped a consignment of rams to Buenos Ayres to tho order of South American clients. The shipment comprised twenty one-shear Oorriodale rains, three Romney March ram hoggets, and three English Leicester ram hoggets.
