At yesterday's meeting of the University Council Air J. Rennie made bitter complaint about the condition-,of'some of the fences that surround tho University buildings. lie gave notice to move that the Leith-street fence be removed, a-n-d that the council take into consideration the condition of the fence in Castle street.
