REPRESENTATIVE RUGBY
OTAGO v. AUCKLAND. The representative match between Otago and Auckland, to bo played ai Carisbrook on Saturday, should provide a high-class exhibition of Rugby football. The \isitors have a good team, possessing some very fast, niopv backs, and Otago will require to play‘its best to win. Some of the finest exhibitions of representative football have been" seen in matches between these two provinces, and! the game on Saturday should be no exception. The Aucklanders will arrive oui Thursday evening, and will stop at the Excelsior Hotel during their stay in Dunedin. As a curtain raiser .the Marisfc Brothers’ team from Invercargill will play a match against the Christian Brothers, Dunedin, providing the ground is in a fit state for the two matches, the box plan will open at The Bristol tomorrow, at 9 a.m. Ground tickets can bo obtained) at the Otago Sports Depou and S. Jacobs’s.
