LONDON, August 9,

Grave fears' are entertained regarding the fate of the British steamer Quito,, which was reported to bo sinking last Monday night-150 miles off the Tyne, after striking an obstruction. Further efforts to establish wireless communication with the vessel failed. The Quito carries a crew of twenty-eight.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
