OVERSEAS CLUB

The monthly entertainment of the Overseas Club will be given at the club room on Thursday evening next. A special feature of tile evening will be an adlciiress on ‘ Races, Nationality, and Languages,’ by Professor G. E. Thompson. The usual musical programme and dancing will follow. Sir Thomas Mackenzie has kindly consented! to come from Wellington to unveil a memorial tablet to the soldier members of the club on Sunday next, at 3 o’clock. Tho Rev. Mr Bush-King and 1 the Rev. Air Hector M'Lean will also take pit in the ceremony. Relatives of those soldiers whose names appear on the roll are specially asked to be present; also all members and ex-members of the dub.
