With tire Government controlling the freight- traffic in East Mississippi, disorders on the part of the railway strikes are increasing. Tho Chicago police wero forced to fire on crowds of rioters who attacked shop workers. Two Detroit workers were stabbed by strikers. Denison (Texas) has been placed under martial law owing to threatened violence; Additional troops are required in various parts of Pennsylvania.—A. and N.Z. Cablo
