CORRESPONDENCE
DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB,
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Why should not the stewards ■of the Dunedin Jockey Club call attention to the good and faithful way in which they have carried out their duties, and remind the members that they could not do better than send them bade to continue the good work? Can Mr Paapo, while occupying, the position he does- at present, deny that right? It would be a good thing for tho S’o iu Mr Pa-ape’s business if they make him hide his light under a bushel—he is too promiscuous.—l am, etc., SIIOUMJI. July 17.
