In the first grade competition second round University A meet Zingari at Carisbrook on Saturday, Pirates and Kaikorai playing on the Gale. It would seem that Auckland, and not Otago, is to have tho first test match against Sydney University, At last week’s meeting of tho Auckland Rugby Union advice was received from tire New Zealand University authorities that a team from Sydney University would arrive in Auckland on August 21, and would play tho Auckland University on August 25, and a game against the New Zealand Universities’ team on August 26.
