COUNTESS ROBBED OF NECKLACE.
PARTS, July 16. (Received July 17, at 12.5 p.m.) Three thieves have been sentenced to right, seven, and five years’ imprisonment for stealing a diamond necklace wort.i £16,000, "The Countess Deiiuce met a well-dressed youth, who offered her and a woman friend a drive in his motor cai. During tho trip three men produced revolvers and forced the countess to take off the necklace. She and her friend were then put off the car on a lonely road. When the robbers sold tho necklace it was recovered. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
