The storv is told that a housewife, while I delighted at the recent reduction in the price of milk, had to complain to the milkman that there had been a fish found in the quart of milk left the previous day. Like a shot, the man replied. “I am not at all surprised, ma'am: I have one cow that will persist in swimming in the -dviftt."
