The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has i-cceived tho following cablegram from Us Londou house, under date the 12th Inst. Tallow.—There is a good demand 1 at lato rates. , New Zealand Frozen Meat.—Lamb, 114 a per lb; mutton (wether and maiden ewe), fight 63d, heavy Sid; ewe, light 54, heavy 43d. Market weak. Beef 1 No change. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report baring received tho following cable from their head office, dated London, July 13 N.Z. prune cross-bred lamb, Canterbury, heavy lid, Hsht llfd; North Island, heavy lOjd,' light lid. Demand is better. N.Z. prime cross-bred mutton, Canterbury, heavy s[d, light Cjd; North Island* heavy sd, light 6d. The demand is poor, N.Z. primo ox beef, hinds 4|d, fores BJdr Demand is moderate. Australian good average quality cross-bred lamb, heavy 9id, light lOd; mutton, heavy sd, light sd. Messrs Murrey, Roberts, and Co., I/bd., have received tho following _ sheepskin market cablegram from their London agents dated the 13th inst. " Merino sheepskins: Market shows no change; cross-bred sheepskins declined 5 per cent.*’ Loans to the amount of _£s7o f and twenty-five shares wore applied ior at this week’s meeting of tho trustees of tho Dunedin and Suburban Mutual Money Club, Ltd.
