Three hundred members of the House of Commons have signed a motion, which will bo debated on Monday, requiring the Government to appoint a committee <xf seven members of tiro House of Commons to join with a committee of the House of Lords to consider the present method of submitting names of persons for honors for consideration by the King, and to report on changes desirable in order to secure that such, honors shall only be given as a reward for public service.—A. and N.Z.
