\ Tiiumumtvui Association message announces that it was stated at a local function that £70.000 bad been found by a group of English financiers who are floating a largo timber company to take over the Tonganro Timber Company’-, oblations.. Already £6,000 has been paid to Natives in royalties and £35,000 is to bo paid in September, while £30,000 is available for the construction of the first five miles of railway between Kakak aud Lake Taupo. The railway must be completed to Lake Taupo 1920. Kakahi Junction on the Mam Trunk, is nmo miles from Taumarunm.
