QUALITY PERFORMERS.

The “ Q.P.’s,” a musical comedy company of exceptional morn, announce their appearance, at His Majesty’s Theatre for a brief season commencing on Saturday next, and the performers, who are well known in English musical circles, promise to provide an entertainment of unusual worth. Theirs is a new form of entertainment, described as “Costume Comedy Extravaganza,” now all tho rage of London and New York. All tho latest successes of costume comedy arc presented in a most elaborate way with smart stage settings, gorgeous costumes, and lighting effects. Referring to Miss Nina. Gordon, whose first appearance m New Zealand is in Dunedin on Saturday next, the Aberdeen ‘ Free Press ’ says : —“ Miss Nina Gordon is a mimic of whom Scottish people may be proud.” Her succesful appearances at the Palace Theatre (London) was the cause of her receiving Royal command to appear before Her Majesty Queen Mary and the Royal Family. Her impersonations of since celebrities include Dame Nellie Melba., Connie Ed css, Gladys Moncrieff, Sir Harry Lauder, and Albert Chevalier. Popularly she is known as “ Harry Lauder in Petticoats,” The wellknown popular comedian Leonard Nelson will present an entirely new repertoire of songs and comicalities.' Comedy is further supplied by Messrs George Sharratt and Ham- Webster, both of whom firmly established themselves in popular favor during tho oomnanv’s recent seasons of four weeks at Wellington and six weeks at Auckland. Among the vocalists is Mr Aneurin .1. Morris, the costume comedy tenor. Others are Misses Hazel Fuller, tho possessor of a charming soprano voice: Rose Fitzgerald, a contralto whose rich, full notes make her singing always thoroughly enjoyable: and Beatrice Wenban. mezzo.soprano. The box plans open at Tho Bristol on Wednesday morning.
