Their services were referred to in the Press, and wore reported to tho Royal Humane Society of Australasia, which decided to place on ermanent record their valued services and to present them with letlora of commendation. Both lads hold the pr</ilcioncy certificate of tho Royal Life-saving Society, having passed the necessary examinations when six years of ego.
