MORE IMMIGRANTS
MANY YOUTHFUL. [Pr.a United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 26. The Waimana arrived yesterday from London with 1,190 immigrants. A large percentage was youthful and many only children. The voyage was uneventful till running into rough weather approaching tho Now Zealand coast, when, as the ship was flying light, she got a good dusting. Twenty-one of tho children brought by tho Waimana are war orphans who come out under the icgis of the Salvation Army. Fourteen boys will bo sent at once to the Army’s farm at Putaruru, while the seven girls remain in the Army Home at Wellington to bo trained for domestic service,.
