ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
Leonard Clarke, aged eighteen years, an apprentice, residing at Nelson street, Pctono (Wellington), was accidentaldy shot hy a comrade named Doug,ns Ireui at Pet one yesterday afternoon. They were on a camping expedition five miles past Riddiford's station at Ornngorongo. Reid wa-s about to tiro wheip Cuarke unexpectedly stepped from behind cover and received tho gunshot. Ho succumbed almost immediately.
