THE MOTU RIVER MURDER

GISBORNE, March 18. The murder trial was rcsuiped this morning, the first witness being Ronald Gordon Saxby, who gave evidence respecting the movements of the accused. He denied that ho had given a message to anybody that Natives should clean their guns. Constable Blackley deposed to finding tho body, the deceased’s watch and chain being missing, but the bar of tho chain was left ha Hi* waistcoat.
