School, Oval; Dunedin, a bye. O.C.A. The monthly meeting of the Executive of the Otago Cricket Association was held last night, Mr Crosby Morris being in the chair. A letter was received from the town clerk intimating that permission had been given to hold an open-air concert in the Gardens on the evening of the 21st inet., on payment of the wages of the watchmen whom it would be necessary to employ.—The Secretary of the Kaikorni Band wrote consenting to assist in providing a programme, and it was resolved to writs thanking them for their offer. — The Secretary of the .Returned Soldiers’ Choir wrote regretting that they would be unable to take part, as they were busy rehearsing for a concert to be held on the 23rd inst.—lt was resolved to held tho entertainment, and to draw tho art union at tho Gardens that evening. A collection will be taken at the gates, contributors of Is to receive, a ticket in the art union, all tickets sold to have a chance in the drawing. The matter _of making arrangements for tho entertainment was loft in the hands of tho Art Union Committee.
Tho Alexandra Club wrote requesting the. association to arrange for the visit of a team from the Carisbrook Club during Easter Week.—The letter was referred to tho Carisbrook Club. It was mentioned that, the Oamarn Club was very keen to have a visit from a representative team on Ur; 23rd iuat. Messrs A. W. Alloo, Bin-
u : f, and Rrsiieaux were appointed a subcommittee to ascertain on -Saturday what pi,avers were willing to make tho visit, and. if possible, pick a team on Monday In leave on Wednesday. 22nd inet., play all day Thursday, and return by the first train on Friday.
