THE FAMOUS DIGGERS
The. return season of the New Zealand Diggers commences in His Majesty’s Theatre on Boxing Night. Fully alive to the urgent need of merriment, the creation of laughter, the Diggers have fortified their company with a coterie of four comedians. Joe Valii, Scotch comedian and eccentric dancer, has been brought from the Palladium, London. The funny little Scotchman will be seen at his best in bis own sketch “Tickets, Please!’ Rcrt Barton is a little dynamo of delightful merriment from C. Williamsons pantomime ‘ Hnmpty Dumpty.’ Frank Moran is said to be one long laugh from top to toe. Ho has just relumed to hinativo land alter nearly three years sm cessful touring of the music halls in England. Taho lama, the captain of coniedi will be, there with the goods again. Stan Lawson is ns chic as over, with a wondeiful wardrobe and a. delightful repertoire of new songs. And there, arc others—vocalists, etc.—nil artists _of exceptional ability, supported by their orchestra of ten picked musicians.
